In the article “ pros and cons of censorship,” by Parbhakar Pillai it says “ It is useful in hiding sensitive military information, which could be used by an enemy state.” Therefore, sensitive military information is something people should not have access to because such information does not need to be let out. For this reason, Opponents believes that censorship protects sensitive military information. Though it is a valid argument that censorship hids sensitive materials, people have the right to know what goes on around them.
As previously stated, Ray Bradbury deals with the issue of censorship in Fahrenheit 451. In the novel, Ray talks about a society that is completely controlled by the government. “ There must be something in books, things we can't imagine, to make a women stay in a burning house; there must be something there.” Although other believe books are bad, and should be burned. People have no right to go in other people's homes, and destroy their property because of their belief.
