My eleventh grade year was arduous. Not only was I concerned about passing five Georgia High School Graduation Tests (GGT), but math III was complex. math III was full of foreign concepts and equations. Overtime, I grew excited about learning new concepts in math III. My teacher was a great influence upon me. He regularly encouraged me to work hard. With his support and endless determination I was committed to succeeding. A few weeks went by and class was going great. We were learning how to plot linear functions, factor polynomials, and how to find missing sides on a right triangle. I was very consistent with studying and reviewing past assignments. I knew if I did not study I would not pass the tests. As the end of the semester grew near, I grew concerned about the final exam partly because I had forgotten a few of the earlier lessons in the class.…

The majority of the time spent in any problem was figuring out what was being asked and that was the skill most of us struggled to develop. In those stressful moments on tests or any work in general it helped me realize that I had a weakness when it came to comprehension and problem solving skills while at the same time reassuring myself of my strength in math since other individuals would also struggle in that area even after figuring out the problem. However, it wasn't far from impossible and in fact those skills learned in problem solving and comprehension helped create the highlight of my junior year in terms of projects done. In the recent weeks after the AP tests were conducted in my Chemistry class we conducted a lab experiment in which using our own chemicals, materials, and designs conducted an experiment in an attempt to created an explosion. The reason being that this project was my favorite is because my groups was the only successful one to have worked using my…

The last thing you should NEVER do is to not study before a test. Trust me, I didn’t study for a test for social study last year, and now I am just regretting it so much. Because I almost bombed the test. And what is even worse is that the test takes up 30 percent of our term mark, so I went in for a retest. But trust me, if you give me a chance…

After you have the courage to take a risk you will get a result weather its good or bad. You can learn a lot about the result of the challenge. In the situation where I had to go into a huge game as a freshman I learn more things than I could have if I didn’t have the boldness to play. I learned that if you have great friends and leaders around you that they can help you through anything. In my English final it was a different way of looking at it. I didn’t get the grade I wanted and I though I studied enough but I learned that you can always be over prepared for a test or anything in life.…

Effectively, we teach ourselves a better way. I intentionally use some vague language because I think resiliency…
