The first occasion that I believe deals with the matter that I see is “The British officials feared large legislative bodies as parochial and democratic, so they sought to restrict their growth. This restriction left many new frontier communities poorly represented in their colonial assemblies.” This shows that he has decided not to to pass laws for the buildings that contain large districts of people. “By 1776, nearly all the colonial assemblies had been dissolved at some point, for weeks or months, due to their stands against British authority.” Broken down this means he took away/dissolved the Representative Houses repeatedly for opposing with direct anger invasions on the individual liberties of the people. What I take away from this is, because the Houses of the Representatives opposed against him. He punished them with blackmail by taking away their rights and liberties as a citizen in the society if they didn’t cooperate with the British
