There are many different reasons why people want to drink, such as celebrations, depressions, or finding an inspiration, etc.. The consumption of alcohol is increasing promptly throughout history and it becomes a culture characteristic. However, many binge drinking occurs in colleges that lead to many problems for society. Everyone knows that alcohol is really dangerous for the drinkers and the people around them if the drinkers do not know how to use it correctly and maturely. Because it causes many problems, they cannot predict how severe the consequences will be. Many people think that alcohol should not be give to young adults or children in certain of age. That’s why, different countries and governments have various rules about drinking ages. For example, Europeans ruled the drinking for teens is above sixteen. Unlike some European countries, all the citizens of America know that the legal drinking age is twenty-one. Even though the drinking and driving rate are not high in European countries as much as America, an article in the Washington Post indicates that the reason why the European young adults do not have many alcohol-related car crashes even they can drink at the early age is because they do not have car when they are young. According to US news website, the number of young adults dead because of drunk driving had cut from more than 5,000 people in the early 1980s to around 2,000 in 2005.
