Canadian society continues to become more diverse in needs and cultural ideals, and throughout this transition PSAC must modify their perspectives and missions to suit the needs of the group. Travel and working abroad are becoming more popular as the younger generation enters the workforce. Post-secondary institutions endorse travel and studying in other countries however many students are reluctant to pay for the rising travel and education costs. Instead, individuals plan to travel after finishing their degree or course. The Public Service Alliance of Canada has a strong history of defending its members and fighting for ambitious milestones. In the past fifty years the organization has accomplished many goals suitable to the obstacles its members face. In order for the continuous advancement of the union, members of PSAC must voice their opinions to ensure that their values are being represented in the most effective manner. PSAC can continue to advance as a union by assessing the future goals of members and the dynamic perspectives and challenges that can be associated with these goals. In my opinion, the future of PSAC will be influenced by the changing societal values of leisure and flexibility in the workplace, and that travelling abroad will play a major role in public service and the business world.
