God has our lives planned out before we’re even born so to mess with the gender of our babies is wrong. Genesis chapter one of the bible specifically states that “God removed a rib from Adam and formed a woman out of it”. When looking at the high cost of having these procedures done, and knowing that it’s not guaranteed to work, great feelings of disappointment and regret on the parent's part are bound to occur. They’ll start asking themselves why they chose to go this route. If they would’ve just left the natural selection process alone they might have gotten the gender they wanted.
The decision of gender selection can cause regret later on down the road when the cherub is grown. Years later, after the baby of chosen gender is born, questions may arise and parents may begin to regret their decision and tell themselves it was wrong to take that away from their child.
