The website begins to talk about the No Child Left Behind initiative, an organization that requires all schools to submit standardized test scores. These scores help determine a certain schools reputation based off of their academic performance, level, and quality. It continues to state how in order to prepare for these tests, schools have begun to enable graduation tests in order to provide upper class students better practice with taking tests. Aside from providing students with an opportunity to practice test taking strategies, those tests are being installed in order to hold all students accountable for the information they were required to attain throughout their high school careers. The website goes on to review the pros and cons exit

Some of the cons that are discussed include: the fact that there will be a rise of more difficult end-of-course exams in order to graduate, they could do more harm then good, and the fact that students who acquire specific learning disabilities or academic struggles are over looked when it comes to standardized testing. Pros that were stated include; the ability to view academic performance and the ability to help leaders figure out new ways to provide beneficial lesson plans along with new learning opportunities.
This website will be beneficial to my project. I am planning to use some of the examples from the pros and cons section for my research. It was not biased and provided good details.
