Abstract This project investigates the positive and negative impacts of such a popular information resource as the Internet. The survey conducted among people of different ages groups and professions has revealed an obvious domination of the positive influence of the Internet over the negative one and the need to more carefully regulate the Internet use by different age categories.

INTRODUCTION

Today information is very important in every field of people’s activity. People say that “who has information will always possess a situation”. So from day to day we obviously understand truthfulness of this expression. Ten years ago, the Internet was practically unheard of by most of people. But today, the Internet is one of the most powerful tools throughout the world. For sure in the nearest future
