Pros Of Micro Chipping
Micro chipping should not be an option whatsoever, with anyone or anything. It will be up to the person itself if he or she wants to be micro chipped. As the article states most people do not want to get micro chipped because they believe they will lose their identity or will feel that they have lost their privacy. There may be benefits to the use of microchips but the argument is that once one agrees to using these micro chips and there is a great outcome, then the rest of the people would need to wear the micro chips as well. The people fear the government the most when it comes to getting micro chipped and I believe that we should hear the people out since we want to keep them safe, and give them as much as they ask. Keeping them safe does

Off course, if we let this to happen our privacy, democracy and our freedom of speech will be under attack and will never be the same. if we are aware such technology is being used we will absolutely live in fear and even be afraid to speak of our mind and we might even not have the guts to express our opinions. I have seen places where one cannot express their feeling and their opinion and it is absolutely outrages to be afraid of what you have to say. Trust me when I say I have seen this places I am actually telling you the truth as I have lived where the bullet of the gun is the answer to anyone who demonstrate against any decisions the government made for its people. However, this country should remain anonymous for now but it is not something I want to see again as I fancy “people’s…

As the Dalai Lama said, “The rapid increase in human knowledge and the technological possibilities emerging in the new genetic science are such that it is now almost impossible for ethical thinking to keep pace with these changes” (Dalai Lama 133). Society needs to be able to be reasonable about the use of a new technology if it the ethics surrounding it is not right. There needs to always be an emphasis placed on the problems that theses technology bring in order to prevent a person ’s right from being taken away from them due to that technology. This requires that here is always reason-forcing conversation when the use of a new technology is being…

Now-a-days, people are more violent and things happen more frequently than it should. People go missing and turn up dead. Some people are so badly damaged that they cannot be identified by their face or their dental record, which some people don’t have anyways because they have never been to a dentist in their lives. Getting all the kids fingerprinted at birth would help with this so much. If someone turns up badly beaten and they cannot tell who they are by their face, they can run their fingerprints into the data base and pull them up.…

People are losing their privacy rights for their ease and safety of their life by the government and the companies. Moreover, these kinds of governmental actions of using surveillance cameras, tapping phones, and looking through computer activities of people, do not guarantee our safety. People are sacrificing their privacy for their safety, but there are many loop holes in these kinds of methods. I believe people need to question whether it is worth it to give away our privacy rights for their…

Throughout history, women have been denounced their civil rights; thus, women have fought persistently for equality. In Akron, Ohio, 1851, a Women’s Rights Convention took place in battle for women’s suffrage. It was at this convention where significant figure Sojourner Truth, used rhetorical strategies in her speech, “And Ain’t I a Woman?”, to challenge the idea that women, specifically African American women, are inferior. Truth establishes her credibility and logically appeals to her audience to achieve her purpose of fostering equal rights between men and women.…

My research paper will examine the impact Canadian temperance movements had on the enactment of prohibition in Canada. By looking at multiple temperance organizations in different provinces the paper will argue that Canadian prohibition was able to be codified due to, in part, the efforts made by those in the temperance movement. The paper will begin by examining the relationship between early temperance movements and the enactment of the Canada Temperance Act or Dunkin Act of 1864. It will then address the Canada Temperance Act or Scott Act of 1878 and how the conditions in Canada changed to allow for a new type of prohibition to be enacted, one which allowed municipalities to opt-in to prohibition by plebiscite. The paper will also focus…

Genetic profiling is a contemporary issue relating to the individual and technology which restricts access to unbiased decisions and privacy. Genetic profiling interferes with the individuals bodily, genetic and behavioural privacy, as it can be used for the benefit of identifying bodies to using the results of a DNA test to choose whether to employ one individual over another, due to future concerns. It can easily be argued that genetic profiling is in the need of law reform as a result of legal implications and the lack of individual’s rights.…

This quote from Nikola pretty much stated that Eugenics is already present in his day and age and by 2100 it will be something common and done on a regular basis. Furthermore as our development in the medical field advances the process of genomic alteration will be less expensive, safer and more efficient. My position on this topic is more in the middle as I will only be behind it as long as the practices are ethical and the patient is in consent of the operation.…

The key argument in favor of the human genome project is based on its potential for treating individuals severely affected by their condition. Genetic bases for many diseases have been proven, which makes the human genome project very important for understanding how to treat, and even cure some of these diseases (Friedman & Schustack, 2005) A ideal example is Lesch-Nyhan disease, which is distinguished communication deficits and involuntary self-injurious behavior. Males who have this disorder have to be restrained frequently to prevent them from inflicting serious damage on themselves. Most of these individuals have their have teeth removed to keep from biting their lips off. If we have a new medical genetic technology that will cure this…

Privacy concerns will always come about regardless of what a situation might be. Society does not like to embrace change, but sometimes change is what our society needs. EMRs are a great asset especially in an emergency and a patient can’t convey medications that are being used, medication allergies, and chronic illnesses that the person might have been previously diagnosed. Furthermore, we cannot forget the added benefits of medical staff when inputting information into a person’s chart. In the dark era, medical staff would spend hour’s hand writing notes and now all it takes is a click of a button and some typing to complete a person’s chart. EMRs are here to stay, so embrace it and feel the added benefits that it will…

Last but certainly not the least: anger. Anger is characterized by brows that are lowered together, eyes that give a hard stare, lips that are pressed firmly together and vertical lines between the brows but no horizontal lines on the forehead (Lewis 736; Turchet web ). This emotion is almost certainly the most dangerous because it is the one that is most likely to involve violence. As for all micro-expressions, the reasons for one to be anger are countless. Similarly to fear, there are multiple physical signs of anger: increase in blood pressure and changes in breathing, muscle tense (Ekman, Unmasking the Face, 76). However, knowledge of this micro-expression…
