Thinking outside the box, Prostitution
“This the people will listen and listen, but not understand; they will look and look, but not see because their minds are dull and they have stopped up their ears and have closed their eyes. Otherwise their eyes would see, their ears would hear, their minds would understand” Mathew 13:14-15. Our society today is becoming increasingly corrupt. The amount of crime happening every day in astounding! Similarly, the amount of people trying to actually find a solution to stop these crimes is even more astonishing. As the bible verse above states, people see and hear and that’s it. They don’t do anything about it and act as if there is no problem. They close their eyes to the real problems we as a country are now facing. They therefore cannot understand the severity of the problems, particularly when it comes to prostitution. Many of our youths are engaging in this particular sexual act. Likewise, older women and even men engage in these sexual acts. So, why aren’t we trying to find a solution? By legalizing prostitution we can counter-act the problems. Prostitution should be legalized so as to reduce the amount of underage prostitution, reduce STD’s, and contribute to our economy. With all things considered, the government should still regulate prostitution. Many of us may say that prostitution is wrong, but alas! We have been practicing and promoting prostitution since the beginning of time. Fathers trade their daughter for a prize pig and women jump at the opportunity to marry an upper-class man. It is being practiced everywhere, so is it really a bad ideas to simply make it legal and gain a couple things along the way? There is nothing wrong with seizing an opportunity, especially when there is a positive outcome. For example, by making prostitution legal there will be a decline in underage prostitution. Prostitution will be practices by adults and only after they have been verified to be above the age of 18 after which
