Protechnique Engineering Consultancy Bureau is one of the consulting offices that have the capacity and efficiency via the consultant staff to go with the Client requirement in design and supervision within the Architectural, Civil, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering works.
1.1 I had the opportunity to join Protechnique Engineering Consultancy Bureau after my graduation as an Electrical Engineer and after one year of working in Electrical Installation with a contractor in small projects. I had already completed the four years full-time course in Bachelor of Electrical Engineering in the University of Mosul. The first year of the course included some papers in Mathematics, also provided a basic knowledge of Engineering, mechanics, and network.

1.5 General information on the project
Kani-Almany Project consisted of (321) Villa style distinctive and modern area of each villa (306) square meters consisting of two floors, located in the city of Erbil-Iraq, contain green spaces and equipped with all the comforts and requirements of the social life of luxury from (school, health centre, supermarket, parks, and kindergarten, and children’s playground, and parking), the project include a substation (11/0.4) KV which feed the project with four generators each 500 KVA and six transformers 1600 KVA.
1.6 At the beginning of the project, I start reading and reviewing project design, checking all drawings, specification, Bill of quantity and all calculations to make sure everything according to standers. In additional, I coordinated with civil engineers, architects, Mechanical engineering and IT staff to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
1.7 I kick off meeting with contractors, and I explained the job to them, giving them all drawings, specifications, explaining everything and discuss the way to do the job with them. I scheduled a weekly meeting with them to review the works progress and discuss any

• Manage/coordinate with mechanical, civil engineers and Architect.
• Supervision of electrical work (Lighting – Power – Earthing – Lightning protection – Fire Alarm - CCTV – MATV - Telephone – Switchgears – Substation)
• Inspect electrical installations to ensure that the design and equipment specifications all according to the standards.
• Preparation of Electrical procedures for installation test and commissioning.
• Attending meetings, writing reports and giving presentations to managers and Clients.
1.9 I faced several challenges during in the project. One of these challenges I faced, after we installed electrical pipes inside the concrete slab, we found some of them are closed or damaged during casting by casting workers. Meetings were held with the RE manager, project manager and the contractor to solve this problem in a minimum financial cost, I suggest that we have to redesign all pipes routing through slabs which closed in casting using other pipes which are working. I used my experience in AutoCAD and design to redesign pipes routing and used available pipes to feed another closed point, without affecting the design or load balance. We were able to overcome the problem without any additional amounts. Meanwhile, I coordinate with the civil engineer to follow up the casting process to prevent any damage to electrical pipes or
