Psalm 105 Analysis
Psalm 105:1-3
Oh give thanks to the Lord! Call upon His name; make known His deeds among the peoples. Sing to Him, sing psalms to Him; talk of His wondrous work! Glorify His holy name.
2 Chronicles 20:21-30
After consulting with the people, the king ordered some musicians to put on the robes they wore on sacred occasions and to march ahead of the army, singing: “Praise the Lord! His love is eternal!” when they began to sing, the Lord threw the invading armies to panic. The Ammonites and the Moabites attacked the Edomite army and completely destroyed it and they turned to each other in a savage fight. When the Judean army reached a tower that was in the desert, they looked towards the enemy and saw that they were all lying on the ground, dead. Not one had escaped. Jehoshaphat and his troops moved in to take the loot and they found many cattle, supplies and clothing and other valuable objects. They spent three days gathering the

Your own problems will even fear God and you. They will just say to themselves, “What are we doing here? We know we are going to be solved, so why did we even come here? Let’s pack our bags and baggages and disappear.” They will be very afraid and leave when you have not even asked them to go. You are only praising your God and it is they who will feel the wrath of God. People around you will marvel and wonder why good things always come your way. They will say, “It seems this guy has no problems. He or she is always happy.” They don’t know that you only praise your God and He does everything. When God is always solving your problems you will have a cool, calm and collected life. The problems will come but they will all be solved as long as you invite the presence of God into the problems by praising Him. Sing and praise Him everyday and witness the power of praise at work in your life. Continue to enjoy a stress-free problematic life as you praise the

Reading through Matthew 24:42-44, it was clear to me the message God was trying to portray; that he was coming soon and he wants us to be prepared. If we put off following Christ any longer, it may be too long and we will miss the one chance we have to live with Him in eternity. Jesus goes on in this passage to further explain his warning by telling the parable of someone who was warned of a future burglary in his household. Knowing this was the case, the man took action by guarding and deterring the would-be burglar (NIV). The parable of the thief is a beautiful way to explain this in the way that it shows if a man were to act immediately on protecting his property if warned, a man should be ready and willing to protect his heart, mind, and soul.…

Essentially, the question posed is asking what our personal Christian counseling view is using Psalm 8 and 139. First, the Psalms tell me that God knows me in every way. He knows my every thought, action, and emotion even before I do. In fact, He knew these before He created me (Psalm 139, ESV). This is more than the human mind can truly understand.…

The book of Psalms is a clear acceptance of wisdom and poetry unto God, the Creator of heavens and earth. David, his Sons, and others expressly write their human’s emotions in prayers and hymns to convey a message from their hearts in many ways. The book of Psalms is also equivalent to the New Testament as well, the Old Testament , example, Psalm 22:1 where David cries in agony, just as Jesus Christ did in the Gospel of Matthew 27:46 and Mark 15:34 collectively describing in Scriptures a separation from God. Nevertheless, God is only prayer away in every…

The Old Testament ends with the prophets. These teachers provided insight on many issues facing Jews who were desperate to know God. Idolatry, social injustice and religious ritualism are three areas that are emphasized in their teachings and instilled in the minds and hearts of believers today. The prophets were great teachers who had much to say about God and the way man lived, social issues they faced, religious rituals they took part in, and their teachings are just as important today as they were in the past.…

Drug use originated in medicinal treatments for both spiritual and physical ailments. The earliest forms of drugs were all natural, created with blends of plants, animal products, and minerals. Their uses were often stumbled upon by accident. Drugs were also a large part of religion. Addictive, psychoactive substances were used in many religious ceremonies; coca (cocaine plant) leaves were considered sacred and used in worship by the Incas, and Ethiopian priests roasted and boiled coffee beans to stay awake during long nights of prayer.…
