My personal narrative will be away to express myself like I have not done before by using theories in my readings.
I am a thirty-year-old man who is very energetic, outgoing, hard working that not only values my life, but everyone else’s as well. Six years prior to me starting at UOP I dropped out of college, because I had no clue what I wanted to use my skills for, I was very lost, unhappy, and I was doing nothing for myself it was for everyone else. That single event by enrolling back in school changed my personality over night for the better. The next day I started weeding people out of my life that where imputing nothing but negatives in it. That was defiantly the turning point for me without a doubt. This event came at the right time also in my life since I was in a very dark place at the time, so I guess you can say it was meant to be. Then I started two business ventures that I had wanted to start which proved to me that I could do something for myself to benefit my life and stability. I now have more than enough responsibilities that I did not have before, like keeping my business in order supplies to maintaining my customer relationships. My new house has been the biggest ordeal and not in a bad way it has been extremely difficult to get it to my standards, and since I am so busy I have not taking time just for my

Crack! The sound of my bat hitting the ball echoed throughout the stadium. Dust went flying everywhere as I took off running towards first base. I dropped my head, concentrating only on putting one foot in front of the other as fast as I possibly could. Everything else seemed like a blur to me. I rounded first base, praying for my feet to move faster. Dust stung my eyes, but I couldn’t stop now.…

My meaning in life is my intention in life. I often wondered about the meaning of my life more than anything else, from my earliest childhood memories. As children, we do not fully understand what our aim is however, we cognize that our being alive alone gives us meaning. Different aspects of my life became an adventure when I became a young adult exploring. Was not until I was of age where responsibility was mine alone that I began to put meaning, and purpose together. Nothing tends to resonate until such a time in one 's life.…

I think the younger you are, the more dramatically different you are from each year to the next. Infancy through young adulthood holds so many milestones and life-changing events. Those are the years when you can really tell how a person has changed since the year before. I think the difference between age 1 and 2, 12 and 13, 19 and 20, etc, is so much greater than 34 and 35, 46 and 47, 80 and 81, etc. For me, the past 5 years have been from ages 37 to 42. If you had asked me what the meaning of life was at a younger age, I probably could not have told you. I still can not probably tell you the answer to that question. Can anyone truly answer that question? Everyone has a different meaning to life that is their very own. As a teenage, like most teenagers, I thought I knew it all and had control of my life and it's direction, and found out I was wrong. I had made some mistakes on my life journey but I had learned from them. I became a mother at the young age of 18 which put my life in a whole new direction. Did I lose my youth? Yes. Would I have changed it? No. I ended up having three children by the time I was 23. That was the time when I thought my life had true meaning. I had three little human beings that depended on me for everything. Did I make mistakes along the way? Yes, what young mother doesn't? As they grew, I grew with them. At the age of 32 I went down the wrong path of life for awhile and ended up in prison over drugs. I had never in a million years thought that I would end up there. I guess after losing both of my parents with in a year and a half in my late 20's, that put me over the edge. I got involved with the wrong people and started down a path of destruction. After losing everything, including my freedom, it was time to make a change. I now sit here 10 years later and look back…

I was only 5 years old when I entered to my first soccer team and I was also very short, my coach use to call me “el chaparro” which in english means “The short guy”. My parents didn’t force me to play, I wanted to play on my own. I wanted to play because when my dad took me to a soccer game at the Philadelphia Union Stadium I saw a famous soccer player named Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez, he signed my shirt and told me “Tu vas aser un gran futbolista.” which means “You’re going to be a great soccer player.”, and that’s what inspired me to play soccer. I joined my first soccer team because when I first saw my uncle play it made me want to play, my dad took me to play soccer at a soccer field and I loved it, and also because Javier “Chicharito”…

I have seen purpose and meaning of my life evolving over the five past years. Five years ago I was just a senior in high school, I had no idea what I would be doing five years from then. I knew I wanted to go to college but I did not know what I wanted to take up. Here I am five years later taking online classes going for my BA in Human Resources/Management. In high school I was not motivated enough because I had not developed my whole personality. I had not grown up and realized that I needed to do something with my life.…

Like most, my Fifth grade year was supposed to be awesome; it was the last year before I was finally able to go to Ben Franklin, the giant School whose football and baseball fields I had played on for years, just waiting for the time I could show I was good enough to play for their City Championship teams. But when I look back on that year that had so much promise, it didn’t go as I had thought, and ended up being one of the hardest of my life, both mentally and physically.…
