1. Describe the healthy meal that you have created from the fast-food restaurant using the nutritional value of menu items.

A. I chose the fast food restaurant McDonald’s. I have ordered a vegetarian premium wrap, a side salad, and a medium orange juice.

Premium Bacon
Ranch Salad
(Without chicken)- 140 Calories, 7g of total fat, 300mg of sodium, 10g of Carbohydrates, 9g of protein, and 160 vitamins A.

Side Salad- 20 Calories, Sodium 10mg, Carbohydrates 4g, protein 1g, and 45 vitamin A

Orange Juice- 190 Calories, 44g of Carbohydrates, 39g of Sugar, 3g of protein, and 160 Vitamin A0

B. I thought that this food choice was absolutely impressive to me because many people say that McDonalds is very unhealthy for an individual. I am blown away because this meal was very low on calories and provided very high vitamin A and a very good source of protein. In this meal combination the only thing to have any sugar was orange juice and it made up for the sugars by having an outstanding amount of vitamin A. There was very very little fat associated with this meal which made this meal highly healthy and a given choice to any one individual who wants to eat healthy. Allthough there was a good amount of calcium as well with this meal. Could use more, but it is not at an alarming low level.

Lately I have not been eating McDonalds very often, maybe once or twice a week. I have recently started to eat healthy and exercising lately, so I am definitely going to order this meal for sure I need my protein. Due to this I will that the next time I order I will add chicken to this meal because chicken is very high in protein. All together this meal would have well over 30g of protein and with chicken it would be about 50g of protein. Definitely will order this in the

I have selected these food choices from Wendy’s menu as I feel the healthiest for a sound meal. The meal contains a total of 660 calories, total fat 21.5 grams, cholst 45, sodium 385 mg, carbs 70g, fiber 5g, sugar 51g, and protein 15g. The information above how the count of nutritional values shows to be enough calories per meal based on 2000 calorie diet. Total count may be a little high but not too much to consume but making sure this limit is low considering the link between fat and heart disease. Cholesterol number is ok but the sodium count is high this could be a concern down the road for high sodium count could lead to high blood pressure and unstable cholesterol levels. Carbs being at 70 grams is not to much and 5 grams of fiber is the amount. 51 grams of sugar is to high but considering other choices this is lowest possible and with the high count of sugar links to depression and obesity have been cited. The protein could be higher but it’s reasonable. This information above about the meal I have chosen is ok for being fast food. Making sure to keep the carbs and cholesterol a minimum will be the…

We have already attempted coming up with a solution to the sale and consumption of alcohol in the 1920’s the Prohibition which was a complete and utter disaster when it failed drastically but turning the sale and consumption of alcohol into an underground crime scene by illegally smuggling alcohol and selling it. With a failed attempt and history repeating itself the government cannot use scare tactics on society as a way to prevent crime within society. If there is a way people will find it to be able to get what they want even if it is illegal to do. We set rules, regulations and laws for a reason which is to deter citizens from making wrong decisions and taking responsibility for their actions. For each law we have it is set up to prevent dangerous situations, crime or the potential for a crime to happen. Within our society the sale and alcohol consumption was minimized by the laws of economics to change things such as the price of alcohol, reducing the hours in which you legally can keep your establishment open, how much one in your establishment is allowed to consume before being “shut-off” for the night, and limiting the ability to purchase alcohol in some states on Sunday. Communities reconciled their differences by putting stipulations on minors having parties and if the authorities showed up not only were the minors arrested but the parents were now held accountable for the actions of their minor children. In addition they added leaving a facility drunk and causing a vehicular accident not only was the party who was driving the vehicle responsible for damages, lives lost, injuries sustained but so was the person whose house or establishment that they left from. Raising the bar on the luxury of consuming alcohol and making sure that people are held accountable for their irresponsibility’s while under the influence, increasing check-points within communities has reduced the statistics on accidents and deaths resulting from drinking and driving…
