Psychoactive Drugs and Meditation
INTERDUCTION
This paper focuses on the different types of Psychoactive Drugs both conventional, and medical. In addition, the effect these drugs have on the brain, nervous system and the mind of individual that are associated with the use, whether it is for pleasure or medical reasons.
Some of the views express in this paper are of personal experiment and of observation of others person’s behavioral pattern that are under the influent of alcohol and medication.
Combining personal experience with research is gives a deeper understanding of how the use of drugs can change one’s level of consciousness.

Meditation/Yoga is a form of medication treatment for the brain and mind. It also raises one’s consciousness level.

A psychoactive drug is a chemical substance that alters the blood and brain chemistry. This result in hormone changes in the nervous system resulting in impulses action, heighten emotion and reactive behavior. In some instances, it races the level of consciousness, and awareness, and in other cases, it lowers the level of Consciousness and awareness.
