Since the early days of the Christian Tradition, it has been ever-changing due to the contributions, guidance and influence of significant people or schools of thought. Feminist theologians have greatly influenced the Christian Tradition, as their main goal is to acquire a voice for all women in the religious traditions that they each belong to. (Christian Bible Reference, 2013) Throughout the history of the Christian Tradition, men have constantly been represented as more knowledgeable and deserving of leadership roles in the church. This lack of equality is not seen as at all acceptable by feminist theologians, and is something they continue to work on to achieve an improved church for future generations. In addition to this, the way in which women are represented in the bible, both in a positive and negative light, contradict and do not align with how women in the Christian Tradition today are treated. Finally, the way in which feminist theologians have impacted the day to day life of adherents will be discussed.…

Ancient Greece influenced our western civilization in many ways. It produced philosophers, scientist, mathematicians, artists, writers and architects in our civilization. As Americans we have learned and took on many things from the Greeks. Greeks were one of the most advanced cultures. Having theaters, Olympics, myths and many other things. Our civilization today is still completely interested with folklore and folk tales. Today we don’t believe in more than one God unlike the Greek culture they are polytheistic. Many people today don’t realize how big of an affect that Ancient Greece has on us. Out of all the things that influenced us from Greek were the Olympics. Just like that Greeks, we compete in competition with opponents looking for the highest honor. Today the Olympics are all over the world and draw millions of people’s attention every year. Us Americans and everyone else on earth, has a little of Greek history in our daily lives. There are a couple different key lessons that can be taking from the Greeks. One is bravery showed by the Spartans. They were fearless and determined to fight and win every battle they fought in. For example when we are in wars and or battles our armies go out and fight determined to win! We can learn from ancient Greece to appreciate, our cultures, art and take care of architecture. The Ancient Greece culture has made many contributions to western civilization. The ancient Greeks affected our fine arts, government, sports, medics, and philosophies. The Greek culture has had a very profound impact on the way people live nowadays. One way that ancient Greece affected western civilization is politics. Greece had the first known democracy. The Greek states man Pericles had three goals, to Strengthen Democracy, Hold strength in the empire, and to glorify Athens. Pericles stated that he wanted all citizens to have an equal opportunity to serve the public. The Greeks affected many of our constitutional rights. In both the US democracy…

Performance in public service can be improved by designing performance contract after carefully examining and adapting to the needs of the public sector. When it does not adopt to the particular needs of the public sector most people will not accept to sign the contract, and can be seen in Kenya by most civil servants refusing to sign performance contract (Government of Kenya, 2007).…

When the week long seminar on new public management (NPM) sponsored by the Friedrich Naumann Foundation International Academy for Leadership (IAF) ended last April 30, 2006, the 25 participants from 13 developing countries were pretty much convinced that NPM is probably what their respective governments need. Having exhaustively discussed and analyzed NPM principles during the seminar, and after listening to local government officials in Germany who extolled the merits of NPM and the short-comings of traditional public administration, there was a consensus that NPM, if properly implemented, can be an effective approach to reform the public sector, generally seen by the people as inefficient, ineffective, corrupt and wasteful.…

While the country’s public administration is considered an important machinery of the government, the people; men and women who devote their time more than eight hours a day are the key to successful public service. The public administrators of any country share the same goal to deliver services as best as possible to the citizen. Unlike their counterpart in the private sector, employees of the public sector made up a huge team of officers and staff paid through public fund to deliver services.
