How the IRA have affected the UK Public services between the 1970 – 1990s?
The IRA is the first irish republic army who were terrorists in the 80s in the UK and they bombed one of the buildings that had a member of parliment in but worstley they affected the UK because of thr destructing they caused for example they would put bombs in bins so that they would explode by civilians and they would use people to walk into buildings with bombs strapped to them in order to blow buildings up, in other words they were very afffected and destructive groiup in the 1970s to the 1970s.
How the public services were, and continue to be, affected by terrorism from the late 1990s until the present day? Specialist training, extended powers etc ?
Police, fireservices armed servuces and the army all have to be ready for a terrorist attack and theyve become more affected by these attacks more recently throughout the 200-2010 period with the 9/11 and 7/7 incidents that the public services has knuckled down on situations like these so that in future they wont happen again.

Well more things have been out more in place such as in airports they have barriers to stop people ramming into the airport with bombs inside the trucks, also they have ways of finiding out identities through any source of identification such as even a libary card and another would be interrogation strategies.
Argue whether you consider that it is right that the rights of the individual are sometimes violated for the greater good of the wider community eg Stop and Search, monitoring private correspondence… Good and bad? i do think that they made a good idea on making this a right!
