Homeschooling is a new trend which becomes popular day by day. Homeschooling is a kind of education which is given at home therefore homeschoolers do not need to go anywhere to learn as others go. Statistics show that there were an estimated 2, 04 million home educated students during the spring of 2010 in the USA. It appears homeschooled population is containing to grow. (Ray, 2011, General Facts 2,). It is a home based one teacher to one student course so the whole attention is on the student. Public schooling as everybody knows is done at school with twenty to thirty students therefore it is completely the reverse of homeschooling because of this reason each student needs to follow the teacher carefully. Homeschooling has some advantages but its disadvantages are more than advantages so public schooling is totally a better option for the student.
It is true that homeschooling is somehow beneficial for the student. In public schools, there are a large number of students who are eager to learn. Teacher must be devoted to all children in her/his class so all students can learn at the same time however, all individuals have different capacity to comprehend so it is not possible. Beside public schools, there is only one student in home school. This might seem as an alternative because students have chance to get an education privately and easily. They can either ask questions to learn deeply or ask her/his teacher to revise the topic but this is somewhat wrong because it isolates the student from the society. Firstly, the homeschoolers do not learn with their friends so nothing is shared. They do not have many friends as public educated students do. These students who are homeschooled have a conversation with the ones who live close to them and their families. This leaves the one all alone. Secondly, homeschooling is often given by the homeschooled children’s parents so this makes the children more bounded to the family and does not
