Publix Pest Analysis Paper
Their internal weakness is only expanding their market in a selected number of states versus in a cover number of states. Being they are the 10th largest food retailers in the U.S. there growing information technology is not up to speed. The quality of their product price range is not affordable to everyone; sometimes their products are out of stock or recall. Their market share in 2015 is 6.0% and was based out of Florida. Their net earnings for the first quarter of 2016 were $581.9 million and increase to $0.75 for 2016. As of May 1, 2016 Publix stock decreased $1.25 per share. My recommendation to increase their market share is by creating better innovation ideas such as actively engaging or gaining insight of the needs of their associates
