Pulpting Creativity
Sculpting is another one of my favorite types of arts & crafts. Sculpting empowers me to take my creativity to a new level. I relish making things with my hands. In fact, I have sculpted many things. The many things include cat heads, cat mouths, and tiny cat figures. I enjoy making cat statues and after making either the head or the mouth, I would then make a mold of it. A mold allows me to make plastic copies of my sculpture to reuse and reuse.

I would use the following strategies for applying creativity to problems in addressing this topic. Fighting temptation describes a battle that is as much spiritual as it is emotional or physical. To be tempted is not a sin. Everyone is tempted and at different levels. Even Jesus was tempted! Temptation happens when the opportunity is presented to do what we know is wrong, whether against God, ourselves, or others. Being tempted is not wrong - it's the decision to do wrong and the corresponding action that follows.…

Lamb to the Slaughter By: Roald Dahl THE ROOM WAS WARM and clean, the curtains drawn, the two table lamps alight hers and the one by the empty chair opposite. On the sideboard behind her, two tall glasses, soda water, whisky. Fresh ice cubes in the Thermos bucket. Mary Maloney was waiting for her husband to come home from work. Now and again she would glance up at the clock, but without anxiety, merely to please herself with the thought that each minute gone by made it nearer the time when he would come. There was a slow smiling air about her, and about everything she did. The drop of the head as she bent over her sewing was curiously tranquil. Her skin for this was her sixth month with child had acquired a wonderful translucent quality, the mouth was soft, and the eyes, with their new placid look, seemed…

Me gusta dibujar y pintar. I like to draw and paint flowers and fruits with pastel and colored pencil. However, I am not good at drawing animals and human figures, with the exception of “stick figures”. ☺ Also, I like and enjoy cross-stitching since I was in 4th grade and still do it in my free time. Below are samples of cross-stitch done on an evenweave fiber (these are not my piece though). You can pick whatever pattern or design you like, such as nature, angels, animals or all kinds of characters, etc. Then, once you finished your own cross-stitch piece, wash, iron, frame it, and then hang this in your home.…

Exiting onto the unpleasant frigid city walkways of Oslo, Norway in the early winter morning of the Walk. The wind was blowing over the rough scene of the rural city. He is pacing down the bustling roads and pondering which foot will come next. "Left, Right, Left, Right, Right, Left. No, no, that can't be correct." He murmured under his chilling breath. He slipped on the newly solidified walkways, he stood up and glanced around, feeling humiliated… he saw nobody, heard nothing, it was as peaceful as a dull summer night on a ranch. "That is entirely odd… what transpired the general population and autos? There were a huge number of individuals around me… " He shouted. "Perhaps on the off chance that I backtrack my means, gee, no, that won't work,…

The saying "nothing is original" has become (appropriately) common . The line between what is unique, original, or "creative," and what is generic or stolen has become blurred and twisted, even more since the proliferation of the internet and copyright laws. However, to call a work inspired by- or even taking elements from- other works "unoriginal" or "uncreative," is detrimental to creativity itself. In Nancy Andreasen's book, she outlines creativity as three parts: originality, utility, and a resulting product. This originality is defined as "perceiving new relationships, ways of observing, and ways of portraying." A notable example following this definition being the many variants on Milton Glaser's "I Heart NY," including Wendy Bryan's…

Loneliness is “without a company” or “destitute of sympathetic or friendly companionship, intercourse, support, etc.” It is isolation and “the quality of being unfrequented and remote.” Loneliness occurs typically after a break up. After being with your loved one for so long, his/her departure leaves you feeling isolated. Their departure leaves you feeling hopeless. You miss their presence, their smile, their laugh, their everything. You feel emptiness inside, as you continue with your every day life. You feel that someone you loved so much is gone; your heart cannot bare this feeling. Your heart cannot bare the feeling of isolation. Instead of replacing it with love, your heart replaces this void with emptiness, with loneliness.…

Once as a little kid I planted a lollipop stick in my backyard with the aspiration of it to grow into a lollipop tree. I awoke the next morning to a magical delight. Intertwined in the branches of tree sprung a plethora of mouth watering snacks. I collected the lollipops off the tree and placed them delicately into my basket. I grew up in an enchanted bubble of never ending magic consisting of anything from mansion pillow forts to receiving tiny handwritten notes from the fairies. My mom formed a childhood which allowed my imagination to run wild and it helped foster unbridled creativity. Growing up in this environment formulated the idea that I should reach for the stars and would be able to accomplish anything I set my mind to. During this time in my life I took chances and wasn’t afraid to make mistakes because of the cushion of childhood magic. Life, however, can take the opposite fork in the road at any unsuspecting time and that's when the true story begins.…

It is said that Capitalism has improved the lives of billions of people. (Gates, 2008) However, there are still billions more who have not been so fortunate. Free market capitalism could be the answer that helps both the fortunate and the unfortunate. A free market is a market that is unregulated by any form of government, but instead by supply and demand. The idea behind the free market is that goods are allowed to be exchanged freely without any intervention by any outside forces. (Kivumbi, 2011) Capitalism and Free Market Capitalism both need capital to survive, but that is where their similarities end. Capitalism is a about the production of wealth, whereas, free market is more about the various methods in which wealth can be exchanged. (Kivumbi, 2011)It is believed that the Free Market Capitalist system is what could save those who capitalism has been unable to help. With the rich persuading the government to make laws that will keep them rich the poor will never be able to rise out of poverty. Free market capitalism would prevent the laws from ever being put into place.…
