Have you ever been to the mall and seen those adorable puppies through the pet store window? How their shining eyes and small noses makes your heart melt? Their small eyes hold horror stories of how they got there in the first place. ‘’Puppy mills are an establishment that breed puppies for sale, typically on an intensive basis and in conditions regarded as inhumane’’(Robinson, B. 2007 February 21). Yes it is true dogs are being taken advantage of and there are no exceptions. The only good thing about it is that you have bragging rights and you don't get a ''mixed mutt''. There’s a certain classiness that comes with having a purebred. Puppy mills are wrong and should be banned. If you aren't familiar with what goes on in puppy mills or what they are; it's basically a giant enclosure of dogs that are under terrible conditions and are forced to breed with another dog of its same breed to be able to make a purebred puppy also known as ‘’pure blood’’ this means it is not mixed with any other breed and makes the puppy more appealing to a consumer because the personality of the puppy is much more predictable and will be able to chose one that matches their personalities.
