The Puritan movement began in the mid 1600 century by settlers in new England. Christians began to feel the church was corrupt, as a result, the reformers suggested the scripture should guide a Christians life as the pope's authority was challenged. In the 1543,King Henry separated from the Catholic church to make the Church of England and forced the citizens to join. this created the Non-conformists called the Puritans.
BELIEFS OF THE PURITANS
Puritans believed that God had shaped an understanding, anticipating that they should live according to the scriptures suggested by the reformers. They also believed that going to church was mandatory and to be a full members, they had to prove you had an encounter with God. Although this was
