The points that I will being explain today are Doing Fundraisers for the community, All the clean ups that we do for the community, And Some of the things that we had learned in the class room.

It saddens me to hear about the complete lack of value to the war effort put on by this small group of Americans. That key leaders given the authority to effect change sit idle while lives are lost. But then, as I stomach that blow, I focus on their true grit, their courage, their resolve, their valor, the bravery, their fearlessness, their dedication, the sheer tenacity of these Hero’s, and I am reminded of why our country is so great. God bless those that lost their lives in this battle, and the families that they left…

Throughout the program, we were taught these values, "Integrity first, service before self and excellence in all we do." I had multiple opportunities being placed in leadership roles to lead others within the corps. From this, I learned that you're accountable for everything you do, and you have to own up to your mistakes no matter how bad the repercussions will be. AFJROTC also includes numerous community service projects and not only did I give back to the community with over 150 hours of community service, but I also gained the trait to be…

To continue, another reason that I enrolled in JROTC was because they teach you how to become a leader. Become a leader is truly a never ending journey. You will have to adjust to every situation that is thrown at you. A very successful college basketball coach that took JROTC was Coach Mike Krzyzewski. Also becoming a leader will help you in life forever till you die. If you do not know how to lead and they put you in a managerial position then how will you respond to that situation?…

We also learned to respect ourselves and others when wearing uniform and when we are not. We learn to step outside our comfort zone and become acquainted with the world around us; the…
