Pursue My Nursing Career
Why I’d Like to Pursue My Nursing Career I’ve always had a passion for the healthcare field; especially the restorative, emergency response, and geriatric aspects of healthcare. My family definitely influenced my passion. My mother was an ER Tech for 6 years and recently became a LPN. And my grandmother was a CNA and an Activities Director. My mom and grandmother loved their jobs and their stories inspired me to pursue my nursing career. I worked as a manager at Long John Silver’s for two years, and I just didn’t feel accomplished or loved my career. Then, I saw an ad in the newspaper for a GNA/CNA class at the Lions Center, I thought it was a great start for my career. I completed the GNA/CNA program and am currently a CNA at the Lions
