Jack Kerouac once said "All human beings are also dream beings. Dreaming ties all mankind together." The article Typical Dreams:Stability and gender differences is a study on dream themes and the variations between men and women. Men and women have mostly different dream themes as shown in the study but it "ties all man kind together". The study of this is growing day by day developing more and more dream themes. There are many dream themes but are there a cross between men and women dreams?, these may vary, but they may be the same.
The article Typical Dreams:Stabillity and gender differences by schrell, micheal; ciric, petra, gotz simon;wittman lutz in the journal of psychology, published in November 2004, by the Proquest social science journals is about gender dream variations and dream themes. Whats already known from this study was that there are 55 common typical dream themes that have been identified and recorded already and that before testing the personal background of the dreamer has to be put into consideration before looking at the results.Typical dreams are described with similar contents by a high percentage of the people who have them.
But whats really desired by the researchers is that do all these dream themes occur in both men and women? Or some in men and others in women?Another question for the authors was are there more dream themes out there? How many are there?
The authors want to learn the differences of dreams between men and women and identify more dream themes that could occur. That way researchers can understand more about the dreaming system in humans and experiment further on other theories that have to do with gender dreaming differiation.

During this study the processes used to develop and recieve more information was through surveys and group comparison. The participants used were randomly selected people, depending on which test some got paid. But all studies had an even amount of men verses women used

The American Dream mean so much too so many but in very different ways. If you surveyed individuals to get a definition of the American Dream, I’m certain that the answers would be very diverse. This I attribute to the Dream being an individual thing and not one that can be defined by all individuals in the same manner. In this paper I orchestrate to show the dreams of several characters as described in two works, A Raisin in the Sun by Lorraine Hansberry and Dreamer by Charles Johnson. In both of these works, albeit the dreams were different for these characters initially, the cessation result was for the same purposes. Those purposes being unity, prosperity, and serenity.…

The psychological approach is based on a more Freudian idea. Freud believed that dreams were repressed desires and impulses. Many Psychologists today, though they do not all embrace Freud's theory entirely, believe that dreams are in fact related to our day-to-day lives. There are many studies that support these sorts of theories. There have been studies on Universal dreams and dreams of recovering alcoholics that prove dreams are related to experience. There have also been studies done on the Senoia people. These people are an aborigine people that have dream rituals. They believe dreams are very important. They work on controlling their dreams. Psychologists call dreams that we can control lucid dreams. Patricia Garfeild has done studies on universal dreams. Universal dreams are defined as dreams shared by all people. There are some dreams that are most commonly shared by all. These dreams include dreams of death, death of a loved one, running in terror from someone or something, or being naked in public. Everyone, regardless of spoken language, shares these dreams. Everyone will have these sorts of dreams at some point in their life. Though these dreams are universal their details can…

Throughout the ages philosophers have been puzzled by the idea of dreams. Humans have written and interpreted dreams. For example,The ancient egyptians wrote a dream book which listed common dreams. Dreams are images, thoughts and emotions you are experiencing during sleep. Even with today's technological advancements, there is still no definite answer to why we dream. Scientists believe that the reason we dream is because of past or present memories, emotions, and unsuppressed and unconscious desires and dreams.
