Within my role as project manager I communicate with different stakeholders, these include,
Staff and volunteers - I communicate with my team by holding team meetings every 8-12 weeks at these meetings we have an agenda, I give everyone the opportunity to add anything they feel needs to be discussed to the agenda. I also have one to one supervisions with staff members every 8 weeks and one to one support sessions with volunteers every 8-12 weeks. This ensures that each team member can talk to my confidentially. With each volunteer I ensure that I am able to cater for each person’s individual needs by ensuring there is structure for those who have Learning difficulties ie keeping to times, easy read information, clear verbal information in meetings and in writing. Ensuring that only one person is talking at one time so not to confuse anyone and to prevent too much nose for those with environmental sensory difficulties. Easy read minutes are taken at each team meeting and at support sessions. Staff information is kept in a locked filing cabinet in Rose Buddies, there is information stored on my USB which is locked and I have a second back up storage device in the safe in Rose Buddies.
