ntroduction Steele School is a large childcare center that enrolls children from ages 6 weeks to 12 years, depending on the season. There are nine teachers and a few assistant teachers; the assistant teachers are chosen based on parent feedback. Steele School wishes to understand the reason parents choose one assistant teacher over the other, specifically if the decision is based on the parent’s satisfaction with the assistant teacher. A survey is handed out to parents where basic questions are asked about the daycare and the main question is asked: What is your rating of _____ assistant teacher from 0 to 10 where 10 is the best? The results are analyzed and put into two groups – Group1 is the ratings of assistant teachers that are chosen, while Group 2 is the ratings of assistant teachers that are not chosen.

Descriptive Statistics Interpretation
Group 1 The data is not normally distributed. 21 parents are surveyed. The ratings range from 4 to 10, with a variation of ±2. Approximately half of the data points lie above 8. The mode rating is 9. Group 2 The data is normally distributed. 21 parents are surveyed. The ratings range from 3 to 10. The average rating is 6.29, with a standard deviation of 1.648. Approximately half of the data points lie above 6. There mode rating is 7. We are 95% confident that the population rating of assistant teachers at Steele School who are not chosen is between 5.537 and 7.035.
