According to The Free Dictionary 2013, quality of life is the personal satisfaction (or dissatisfaction) with the cultural or intellectual conditions under which he lives (as distinct from material comfort). Many people nowadays are concern about their quality of life. besides the wealth, they also concern about safety and security, health, education and so on.

Differences in quality of life will affect the decision to emigrate and decision to stay back in their country. Safety and security issues are consider as one of the important component of quality of life. In Malaysia, people are very concern about their safety and security, but every day there are many kidnapping cases and robbery cases happen around us. They will start to think which country have low crime rate and they may migrate to that country.

Migration is a global phenomenon that influences the health of individuals and populations. high-skilled labours normally will face fewer health risks. It is because the high-skilled labours are concern about their health. They will choose the country that have good healthcare system. If the foreign country have better healthcare system, they may consider migrate to that country.

Some quantitative studies found out that many households migrate to other foreign country due to have a better quality of education for their children. Nowadays parents are concern about their child future and also their child education. If other country can provide with better education system, they might think to migrate to that country so that their children can have better learning environment.

As you know, some foreign education system encourages children to think more and have some activity to train their critical thinking. In school, they not just memorise things only but encourage them to ask more question and have more interaction with teacher. This education system will affect their children ability in future, such as ability to critical
