Quince Chong joined Cathay Pacific Airways as Manager Corporate Communication in 1998 with a responsibility for the overall communications strategy of the company.

She became General Manager Inflight Services in July 2000 to manage the airline’s cabin crew and develop inflight catering and service products.

Ms Chong then assumed the position of Director Service Delivery in July 2004 to oversee all aspects of the airline’s service delivery both on the ground and in the air. She also assumed the chairmanship of Cathay Pacific Catering Services Hong Kong Ltd (CPCS), Vogue Laundry Service Ltd and Hong Kong Airport Services Ltd.

Since August 2008 Ms Chong has been appointed as Director Corporate Affairs, overseeing every aspect of the airline’s activities in respect of government relations, corporate communications and environmental affairs. She has retained her chairmanship of Vogue Laundry Service Ltd and Hong Kong Airport Services Ltd.

Before joining Cathay Pacific, Ms Chong held public relations positions at the Hong Kong Tourist Association, the Ramada Renaissance Hotel and the Regal Meridien and Regal Riverside hotels.

She earned a degree in Social Sciences Faculty of the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 1986, with a major in Government & Public Administration and minor in Personnel Management. In September 2007, Ms Chong was appointed Adjunct Professor of School of Hotel & Tourism Management of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. In November 2010, she became an Honorary University Fellow of the Open University of Hong Kong. In September 2011, Ms Chong has been listed “Influence 100- the 100 Most Important In-House Communicators in the World” by Holmes Report.

Ms Chong is married with two sons.
