Quotes From God's Love By Dr Parker
In Dr. Parker’s Quote, “ God’s Love,” to show their love and kinship the Lord’s worshipers must look into what has been done for them and they must also look to the Lord Himself for that is where love itself is found, that is where love originates. I know personally that when I praise the Lord for what he has done for me that I experience a feeling of love and kinship. The love that God gives never falters and neither should that of His worshipers. Personally I know I have faltered and that I am not perfect I have reached times when I feel as though there isn’t much hope. From the things that I know happens in the world today it makes everything look dark and hopeless. After reading “ God’s Love “ I am reminded that even though my faith falters God is still there with his undying love and I remember that even if things look negative that all will be okay in the end because He has a plan. Faith should be shown for the glory of God himself is found everywhere, here where man stands to where man has yet to stand. The glory of God is found even in the smallest of places to the smallest of creatures through acts that most would find random. For example one day I was reading an article about a family who adopted a stray cat and later that cat saved the woman life when she was having a seizure in her sleep by waking up her son. It is the little moments that really brings God’s glory out. …show more content…
Knowing that the Lord has love that is eternal and doesn’t falter even when man wanders down dark paths. The Lord has a plan for all and all of eternity for those plans to be carried out. He has given all of eternity for His lessons to be learned and for those who learn them to know about God’s grace and love. I know that I don’t know everything and I wish that I did but, I have my faith that things will turn out okay and that even if I don’t know my plan He knows it and that’s all that

Like anything in life, faith starts out for most as a journey. Often growth in faith is so gradual it is hardly noticeable. There’s no thundering voice of God striking down the disbelievers, but rather small miracles like getting an A on a test with little preparation. It is only self reflection faith grows because of struggles in life. In A Prayer for Owen Meany by John Irving, John Wheelwright’s faith and his belief in miracles juxtaposes Owen Meany’s innate beliefs. John Irving follows John Wheelwright’s growth in faith and miracles and highlights Owen’s steady support.…

All throughout generations, humans have desired to know what to put their faith into when it appears that God is not there. To Louie Zamperini, he finds that if he does not put his trust in the Lord and does not ask to be saved, that he would surely be put to death. Through Laura Hillenbrand’s Unbroken, pastor Billy Graham displays how impactful God is through maintaining faith and how to live that life through Him: “What God asks of men, said Graham, is faith. His Invisibility is the truest test of that faith. To know who sees him, God makes himself unseen.” (Hillenbrand 190)…

“Look to Me, and be saved, All you ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other.” Isaiah 45:22 (NKJV). I heard the question asked last night. “What rewards your life?” The answer was; to deeply appreciate those, who love you by loving them back. That’s what life is all about. You can ruin your life by desensitizing yourself. We are all afraid to say too much, feel too deeply, to let people know just how much they mean to us. But not God, in fact, we find in this verse how much He loves us. Many of us have a mental picture of what a Christian should be. Yet many of us don’t make ourselves vulnerable enough to fully narrow all our interests until our mind, heart, and body are completely focused and looking at…

Our love for others is usually based on how they treat us, and what they do for us. Even though we could do nothing for God, He still loved us with no doubt. God has created in us feelings, and a heart. In the book Praxis, they say that giving your heart to Jesus is like jumping into the lap of a parent and looking to them for guidance. When you give God your heart, you are trusting Him with your life, emotions, feelings, and you are trusting Him to guide your life in the right direction. In my life, I try to love the people around me the best way I can because I know I would want the same from them. I try to take what I learn from God’s Word and what He says about love and how we should use it and use it in my life to the best of my ability. Knowing that God has endless love for me, and how He says we should love our neighbor’s as we love ourselves is a constant reminder for me to be kind to others, and give them love and help whenever they need…

In the fifth sermon, Joseph Butler looks at how it is that we are commanded to love our neighbor as ourselves. He argues that that in order to understand how we are to love our neighbor, we first need to consider the different meanings that “as thy self” could have, such as that we should have a similar affection towards our neighbor as what we have for ourselves. Butler states that our affections toward others should be similar to the affections we have toward ourselves. This means that, just as self-love means that we strive for and have an interest in achieving happiness, we should also strive for the happiness of our neighbors.…

In (John 3:16) “God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son so that we could have everlasting life.” This gave me the understanding, that no matter what I am going through in life and all the things that I may have to give up for someone else is for a good cause.
