ARTICLE IV – EXAMINATION AND REGISTRATION
Sec. 13
c) He/she is a holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, provided he/she graduated within three years from a college or university that complies with the standards of nursing education duly recognized by the proper government agency.
Sec. 16
Ratings and Examination
In order to pass the examination, an examinee must obtain a general average of at least seventy-five percent (75%) with a rating of not below (70%) in any subject.
Provided, that an examinee who fails the nursing licensure examination the first time shall be allowed to retake the same two (2) more times: Provided, further that examinees shall be disqualified from taking future nursing licensure examinations after three (3) takes.

Qualifications of the Faculty
A member of the faculty in a college of nursing teaching professional courses must:
a) Be a registered nurse in the Philippines and a holder of a current valid professional license;
b) Have at least three (3) years of clinical practice in a field of specialization;
c) Be a member of good standing in the accredited professional
e) Must undergo competency enhancement every two years as prescribed and accredited by the Board
Any person acting as member of faculty of any nursing program who does not possess the necessary qualifications as specified under this act shall suffer the penalty of revocation of professional license: Provided, that any educational institution who, despite willful knowledge of such lack of qualification, continues to employ such person, shall suffer the penalty of revocation of license in accordance with the rules and regulations of CHED.
Sec. 29.
Qualification of Nursing Service Administrators
b) Possess appropriate units in post-graduate studies and relevant work experience such as:
1. For first level manager, at least nine (9) units of nursing administration in Master of Arts in Nursing/Master of Science in Nursing,
