On 11/3/2015 S/S EMT Salamy requested S/O EMT Perez up at VP-106. S/O EMT Perez had treated the resident earlier and the resident, a Mrs. Miriam Donovan had been discharged by Laurel Hospital and was confused and agitated upon arrival back to her apartment. SO EMT Perez arrived at the apartment and was told by S/S EMT Salamy that the son, a Mr. John Donovan was on his way to the apartment with an ETA of about an hour. A Cleveland detective (McFadden), on a downtown beat which he had been patrolling for many years, observed two stranger on a street corner. He saw them proceed alternately back and forth along an identical route, pausing to stare in the same store window, which they did for a total of about 24 times. Each completion of the route was followed by a conference between the two on a corner, at one of which they were joined by a third man who left swiftly. Suspecting the two men of "casing a job, a stick-up," the officer followed them and saw them rejoin the third man a couple of blocks away in front of a store. The officer approached the three, identified himself as a policeman, and asked their names. The men "mumbled something," whereupon McFadden spun petitioner around, patted down his outside clothing, and found in his overcoat pocket, but was unable to remove, a pistol. The officer ordered the three into the store. He removed petitioner's overcoat, took out a revolver, and ordered the three to face the wall with their hands raised. He patted down the outer clothing of Chilton and Katz and seized a revolver from Chilton's outside overcoat pocket. He did not put his hands under the outer garments of Katz (since he discovered nothing in his pat-down which might have been a weapon), or under petitioner's or Chilton's outer garments until he felt the guns. The three were taken to the police station. Petitioner and Chilton were charged with carrying concealed weapons.…
Facts: Pasco County Sheriff office in Florida received an anonymous tip that marijuana was being grown on respondent property. A warrant was obtained based on what the officer had observed, and the ensuing search revealed marijuana growing in the greenhouse. The respondent was charged with possession of that substance under Florida law. The trial court granted his motion to suppress the evidence.…

Riverside police detective Kevin Townsend decided to conduct a probation search on George Roussell’s home. The detective was having a very time trying to figure out where the Roussell lived. The probation agency said that Roussell lived in Moreno Valley, but the court system said that he lived in Corona. Roussells DMV address was on a Gould street in Riverside, but all his recent information like the local utilities and phone company showed that he was living at 8123 Magnolia Avn. Apt. 85 in Riverside. Detective Townsend made the decision that the Magnolia apartments had to be his current residents because of the utility bills. He also believed that was his home because most probationers and parolees give false addresses so that they can avoid warren less arrest. Most probationers and parolees don’t know that the police have access to there utility bills. Police use there utility bills so that they can track the criminals down and find out where they live.…

Dana-Hall, is a well known and respected all-girl boarding and day school (6-12 grade) competing in a time period in which social attitudes towards single sex education is shrinking. Measures of demographics and social trends indicate a clear shift towards a co-educational school environment. This new reality, where demand is decreasing faster than supply, results in declining numbers of potential female applicants over which the last four all-girl boarding and day schools are aggressively competing to maintain continues enrolment figures. Other former all-girl schools have either moved to admit boys or merged with better-funded boys schools to avoid bankruptcy. On top of these constraints, and in direct relation, Dana-Hall is also encountering financial challenges to the extent that the current tuition revenues are not sufficient to cover operating expenses. Alternative sources of revenue to make ends meet include: annual giving, investment income, rental of property, property sales and the introduction of a sixth-grade program. Cutting expenses is difficult, since excellent academic programs and an enjoyable living environment are essential factors to attracting the quantity and quality students.…

It is the rivalry game day of the Calvin verses Hope basketball game and it has made known to us that aliens are coming down to earth to paint our gym Hope's colors—blue and orange. It is imperative that we stop this embarrassing display and save Calvin's arena from being painted the opposing team's colors. In order to stop the aliens from painting the Van Noord Arena, my group and I have come up with a survey that selects only the best and fastest students to stop the aliens' evil plan and send them back to Hope's campus with Calvin's own colors. One of our professors, Dr. Jones, wants to join our team but we don't know if we should let him in or not. Below is the steps my team and I took to see who exactly should be allowed on the team…
