There are many differences between an ordinary car and a race car. One of the top difference is that a race car is at least 100 miles per hour faster than a regular car. “They also have to endure G-force which is the force of gravity in any direction. The drivers have to deal with 1.9G’s for four hours straight or more. Most people who experience G-force on a roller coaster for three seconds end up puking”(Rosen, 2005). To be able to handle that much force for that long of time would have to be healthy and be physically in shape. They say that all the people do is get in a car, turn left and that people do this everyday. Some say people just watch the race for the major wrecks or last few laps to see who wins not for their athletic ability. “Since they say most people watch the race for wrecks that this classifies this more as entertainment rather than a sport”(Lee, 2008). “Some say that the only the only hard thing they have to deal with is dehydration or a wreck”(Leone, 2008).
