As Rachel was in the ending years of high school she intended to take Cultural studies at the University of Western Ontario before being persuaded by her drama teacher that a professional acting career was a viable option. She enrolled in York University's four-year theatre program and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts honors degree in 2001. Rachel made her Tv debut in 2001 on The Famous Jett Jackson and her film debut on My Name is Tanino. She would later have more appearances on Tv show but didn’t get her first break out role until 2004. In 2004 Rachel played the infamous Regina Hall in the movie Mean Girls. She also stared in The Notebook later that year. She went on to star in multiple movies. From staring in multiple movies her talent didn’t go unnoticed; she was nominated for 52 awards such as the Academy Awards and more. Out of being nominated 52 times she won 32
awards. Not only was Rachel an actress she also tried her best to help the environment. She used to help run an eco-friendly lifestyle website called GreenIsSexy.org. Rachel was really excited about the project and even told in a magazine interview “I’m excited that people are getting on board and that the Oscars had their first green event. We could still make great art and great movies without the burden of how much they cost to the environment.” Rachel also took part in numerous projects that was based on helping the environment. Rachel McAdams was a great daughter, sister, friend, and girlfriend to others. She is survived by her sister and brother Kayleen McAdams and Daniel McAdams. Also by her boyfriend Jamie Linden and her parents Sandra Kay, and Lance Frederick McAdams. Funeral Services will be held at 2pm on October 6th 2017 at St. Paul's Cathedral 472 Richmond St, London, ON N6A 3E6, Canada. Also donations could be sent the Sunshine Foundation of Canada.
