Racial Barriers While Growing Up

While Growing up I loved to look at movies that are based on breaking cultural and racial barriers. Our family wedding is based on just that. I would say that this movie is similar to that of “Guess Who” the only difference is, this time the families are black and Latino. Lucia Ramirez and her boyfriend Marcus are travelling home to tell their parents that they are engaged. Lucia fears that her overbearing father Miguel will disapprove not only of her fiancé but also of several decisions she made.
