Racism contains elements of both discrimination and prejudice which are focused on socially created differences and opinions of individuals strictly on the basis of biological and physical characteristics. Racism is comprised of acts of violence, ill-treatment, and marginalization of individuals centered on their unsubstantiated race and/or ethnicity. Racism and discrimination are two sociological concepts that are very closely related. Racism and discrimination are comparable to each other and conceivably the most criticized concepts globally. Basically, there are three rationalizations for the existence of racism. The prevailing opinion which is hardly ever communicated as a practical concept but instead functions at the level of speculations is that racism is an irrational reaction to diversity which causes some White individuals to take on intolerable and hostile viewpoints towards racial and ethnic minorities which sometimes results in aggressive and malicious conducts. Individuals who possess this comprehension of racism frequently promote awareness and knowledge as a means of counteracting the practice of racism. An additional position is that racism is prevalent in the White culture and that the sole resolve is for the Black community to organize themselves independently from Whites and other non-minorities in an attempt to protect their race and to defend their wellbeing. The final viewpoint is one which libertarian communists and social anarchists support. It is the conviction that racism is based on a materialist standpoint, which regards racism as a historically explicit and materially produced
