Background
Why are rainforest biomes important to our planet?
Rainforests are important as they are home to the most diverse biotic communities. Rainforests also help to prevent soil erosion, as nutrients that are stored in the vast number of trees and plants rather than in the soil. The biggest key factors of rainforests are that they help reduce the effects of worldwide climate change.

Why is it important to monitor their health?
When you monitor the rainforest health you create a understanding for the ecosystem and inhabitant. Which can improve your awareness for certain environments that need more attendance than others. So you save the rainforests that need to be saved or helped in a way that human can assists in.
