Raspberry Pi And Pixie
This extra credit assignment involves implementing and presenting a Raspberry Pi and Pixie camera combo, programmed with MATLAB, in order to accomplish some task. We decided to do object identification, specifically to isolate a yellow cone from a live feed of images inputted from the Pixie camera. This was accomplished by using color segmentation in order to identify the cones by looking for the bright yellow color. We encountered a few problems, the program would identify the yellow cones from the images fine, however, it would flash between the image of the identified yellow cone and the normal, unedited image from the live feed.
