FORMAL PAPER REQUIREMENTS: SIX TYPED PAGES-ONE REFERENCE PAGE
The formal paper will cover sports facility planning and management. Design your own sports facility in terms of what type of activities you want to include. Describe the procedures and policies of the facility and the responsibilities of the manager operating the building. The sports facility planning or management paper can include some of the following subtopics: activities, planning and producing events, membership, financing facilities, ADA requirements, risk management, medical emergency and evacuation plans, concession management, and box office management. Submit an outline for the formal paper. Make sure to discuss and get your topic approved.
GENERAL RULES
The formal paper and home essays will be graded for contents, grammar, conceptualization, comprehensibility, and clarity. Do not plagiarize or copy someone’s work, it will result in a failing grade. If you use an author’s ideas, make sure to reference it. The essays are due two weeks after we cover the chapter. The facility management paper is due one month before the end of the semester.
