My Reaction to Apollo 13

The movie Apollo13 is great but little kind of boring. Tom Hanks is a great artist! He is my idol. One of his great movie is Forrest Gump. By the way, The Apollo13 is America’s third moon landing mission. En route, an onboard explosion deprives their spacecraft of most of its oxygen supply and electric power, forcing NASA's flight controllers to abort the Moon landing, and turning the mission into a struggle to get the three men home safely. I thought Jim’s wife was his mother. Cause, look to old for me. Just kidding, Well done!

My Reaction to Armageddon

Armageddon is the best movie of all the three that you gave to us Ma’am! There’s a love story and it is based on true story life. At first, All of the scene was so hilarious but then at last, So many lives to sacrifice the tragedy. Only three of crew was survive, the Russian, the Boyfriend, the Insane, the Father Bald. The Russian was so funny when he was going to fix the components, he said “Russia and America has a same components but its made from China”, After that he pupok only then its already fix, and they got home or back to earth. The movie was about A massive meteor shower destroys the Space Shuttle Atlantis and bombards New York City, the East Coast, and Finland. NASA discovers that a Texas-sized asteroid will collide with Earth in 18 days, creating another extinction event. So, they create a team that going explode the asteroid. The mission was successful.

After having a thorough read through of Francis Cogliano痴 book detailing The American Revolution, I feel that he provides a refreshing look at that period of time, giving the reader an engaging and easily accessible look at early colonial times and their lives. Once I began reading through the book I believed that Cogliano had a clear and simple objective with what he was trying to create, to a piece of literature that could be classed as a modern and accessible way to look at the subject at hand aimed primarily at the undergraduate students. Whilst this work could easily be put to use for undergraduates that wish for a much deeper study into American history, it can also be useful for an A-level student or even someone not in education if they wish understand the key themes and events of what had happened in that period.…

The Ares 3 mission crew that joins Watney is filled with familiar names like Jessica Chastain, Kate Mara, and Michael Peña, while back on Earth, Jeff Daniels, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Sean Bean are believable characters fighting to keep Mark alive. The only issues I have with the movie reside within the script. Drew Goddard did a commendable job adapting the best-selling novel by Andy Weir, brilliantly incorporating a lighthearted tone to blend with the seriousness of the situation. Every film nowadays strives for Nolanesque melodrama, so a film with this much heart is absolutely refreshing. Unfortunately, the sentimentality becomes a bit overwhelming at times, and a few scenes of shaky dialogue feel out of place. Overall, the movie is fantastic. Scott's directing and Damon's performance combine to make a brand new science fiction classic. Truly a love letter to NASA, science, and the American space program, it's an inspirational journey. It has a few minor flaws in the script, but it truly is another jewel to add the the résumé of the great Ridley…

The movie Apollo 13 stared, Tom Hanks (Jim Lovell) Bill Paxton (Fred Haise), Gary Sinise (Ken Mattingly) and Kevin Bacon (Jack Sivigert) . The movie was directed by Ron Howard and is based on the book “Lost Moon” by Jim Lovell and Jeffrey Kluger. This was America third trip to the moon and Apollo 13 mission was to land in the Fra Mauro area of the moon. Two day before launch Mattingly was scrubbed from the mission after being exposed to measles. He was replaced by Jack Swigert (kevin Bacon) who only had two days of preparation. Two days into the mission on April 13 Jack Swigert received an order to stir the oxygen tanks. One of the tanks exploded which caused damage to the fuel cells and the heat shield. This damage made a moon landing impossible and the return trip home a challenge and daunting task. With the astronauts’ lives hanging in the balance, mission control evaluated all the choices available to them and made a decision that brought the crew safely home.…

Apollo 13 was overall a very accurate movie, scientifically and factually. Of course there were things changed in order to advance the story and make the movie more interesting, but most of these things were very small. Apollo 13 was an Apollo mission that came after the first landing on the moon. The problem was that since the United States had already beaten Russia to the moon people weren’t sure why they needed to go back, so there were less resources and money going into this mission.…

Elizabeth Bishop’s “The Hanging of the Mouse”, places animals in the roles of humans in reference to an execution. The writer uses animals to replace humans to possibly convey a message or point of view towards the death penalty. In the story, the mouse is being executed for what we believe is some sort of crime. It isn’t clear whether or not the mouse actually committed a crime, but we are led to believe that an act occurred in which caused the mouse to be executed on this particular day.…

The movie Argo was very well written, directed and had very good acting, I would recommend it because unlike some other history movies it is in no way boring and wasn’t slow paced. I think anyone would enjoy this film but due to mild violence and some scenes with inappropriate language I would suggest that those under 12 should hold off on watching. The plot and climax of the film were very good and I loved how intense the ending was when the Iranians were chasing after the plane that the Americans were on, I did not know if they would make it out alive because it was very…

The movie Apollo 13 was an extremely well made film in accordance with American history. Although the creators of the movie missed a few details along the way they definitely did their research on the events which occurred on the Apollo 13 mission. The movie accurately portrayed all main events, even including the personal lives of the astronauts and their families. Although Apollo 13 lacked some detail, it was able to simplify what happened in the movie to create an easier viewing experience. This gave the viewer to get at least, a basic understanding of what happened on the incredible Apollo 13 mission.…

What strikes me the most in this film is that the director managed to make the film worth watching in 1 and a half hour with only one setting or location and focusing on one character only. Not many films can pull something like this. In regards to the content, it showed that in order to survive, you have to sacrifice something and do unimaginable things. This surprised me because it was not normal and people don’t do those kind of things. With James Franco’s acting, it made the movie a sure hit and suitable to be awarded in Oscars which it really did. The…

For me, the film was very motivating. It made me strucked my mind to imagine the life living in outer space, and striving hard to survivejust to live there. It really made me cry, very touching and made me realize how hard it is to be an astronaut. The Film has also a good message for the viewers, like knowing what kind of stuffs/things that are running or hanging out there in the galaxy, things/stuffs that can harm us people here in Earth and things that could amaze us. I liked it because we can even get the understanding about what could possibly happen and what might the world become of it in the present happenings. The film is also educational, this could really help students let their imagination take over theire heads and enter the world in outer space. You could really understand the film.…

These main elements are framed on the left side with the text inscription “Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas” underscored by a gold line drawn in half circle. The right side remains open, signifying freedom, openness, and readiness of the BSP, as represented by the Philippine eagle, to soar and fly toward its goal. Putting all these elements together is a solid blue background to signify stability.…

In the 4th chapter of “The Land Looks After Us” Martin starts by talking about a weather doctor that the tribe turned to for guidance after a total eclipse blocked out the sun. Though he was ill he helped and went into a trance which allowed his soul to find out what was going on. What he ended up seeing was a vision of god and all that neat stuff. After he became a prophet, I think what martin was trying to address with this story was that religion was not only spreading but it was also expanding and changing. One thing I think is kind of unfair of us (the white man) to do was basically force our religion onto them. Wovoka starts this new religion that was based around a dance that’s wasn’t new at all, which I find a little strange how he could get followers and believers with something that has been around for a while already. Another thing I believe Martin was trying to get across was that Wovoka’s new religion was very close to Christianity. Martin compares and contrasts the two very well. In the end I think that they are the same story told by a different person. Martin did a very good job with not only stating his idea but putting it in terms of not, “hey this happened” he actually explains and gets those small details that maybe don’t need to be said but should.…
