Because our country is not ready to this program primarily the DepEd they have a trouble to handle such a big change in education curriculum. But on the other side, if handled very well by the officials and is given the right attention, sooner the Philippines will be able to produce competitive students as what they are aiming to have. we must first look for the benefits before we look at the negative sides since k-12 has a good chance for us to be globally competitive we must adopt to this changes even its hard for our country to give budget on education. More time spent in studying means more knowledge, so adding two years is a good idea. In addition, 12 years of basic education is one of the international standards for quality education. However, I think our government doesn't have the capacity to provide such kind of quality. Why? Because financial assistance is insufficient. Public schools can't provide enough reading materials. Also, it is ironic how they want teachers to utilize multimedia materials when in fact they can't provide those. Everything when we work together, no matter how and difficult impossible, definitely a good outcome. I see the future of K-12 program. We need our government as the main propagator of this k-12 curriculum , will be sensitive to everything, allocate the necessary funds for instructional materials, these buildings to construct and other necessary facilities. The teachers must be faithful to their oath, be an ideal being a good teacher to the students. Parents may be open minded and see the beauty and importance of this program for the future not only their children but as well as the future of the country. And above all, the students. They would be seriously study and do not ignore the goodwill of K-12 that is completely designed for the improvement of the quality education they
