San Isidro Catholic School (SICS) began in 1967 with only a class of 20 children aged 4 – 8 under the supervision of Msgr. Emmanuel Magtanong Cruz, the then parish priest; Mrs. Ma. Luisa C. Sevilla, who assumed the role of principal; and Miss Edelisa L. Daco, their teacher. In 1969, SICS was offering Nursery, Kindergarten, Preparatory and Grade One levels. In shifting the paradigm from traditional learning to the Dynamic Learning Program (DLP), designed by noted physicists, Dr. Christopher Benido and his wife, Dr. Ma. Victoria Carpio-Benido, the school utilizes the Benido couple’s instructional materials namely, the Learning Physics as One Nation videos – a series of videos meant to serve as the “lecture part” of the session. The DLP focuses on independent learning. The premise is that as the students write down the lesson and answer the exercises, the students are actively learning by means of motor memory. The physical act of copying down the lesson forces the students to read and figure out the given topic. This, eLink – a e-Learning system that makes utilizes one-to-one computering with tablets loaded with ebook versions of the students’ textbooks courtesy of Samsung – and Galileo Education Services’ Mobile Learning Device (MoLDe) applications, have been introduced to the school in this decade

Schools around the world have been enhanced by the presence of technology. Whether someone is writing an essay on a laptop or studying the mysteries of the cosmos, advances in tech have changed education in ways such as the Smartboard. In classes, of various subjects, it seems no classroom is complete without a Smartboard. The interactive aspect of the boards assists people with kinesthetic and visual learner profiles which can peak interest in the subjects taught or makes it simpler for the students to understand and therefore hopefully hold on to the information better. Another technological advancement for learning is none other than the PC (personal computer) because of its access to many websites linked directly to education such as Google Classroom which is used for teachers to give assignments to students via Google Drive.…

When reading I came across some interesting non-fiction story and letter written by well known authors. They were all good but there was two that I had the most reaction to. When I came across these two letters I felt like I had a connection with the author. The letter Salvation by Langston Huge, when I read could relate to it cause I to come from a christen background, and in the story by Lam about his mother I felt like keeping family tradition should always remain I a person life. So I thought it would be good to explain my reaction in detail by stating the strategies, themes and what makes these non-fiction stories.…

Primarily motivated students can easily start their own education. Many people think of education as something that occurs in a school or classroom. However, knowledge-eager students can gain additional skills behind the walls of schools. This self-teaching approach in the “New Pedagogy” is based on motivated people studying outside of general compulsory education. Students should have a chance to acquire other knowledge based on their interests, which are not the interests of their teachers through the self-teaching approach. The self-teaching project requires an active approach from the student. Students remember competences they gathered through their own endeavors and efforts. Students should look for information and classify it independently. Students should learn to read technical writings of others. In educational-research projects, students are developing a whole spectrum of cognitive abilities – thinking and reasoning, memory and learning, attention, perception, judgment, imagining and problem solving. Research method as the form of education requires individual problem solving of students for an integrated problem assignment. A virtual nature, virtual universe or virtual reality is essential for the science education. The virtual reality mimics the real world and students can safely perform experiments on it. Students can perform thought experiments otherwise impossible to do in reality. Moreover, a computation is becoming as important as a theory and experiment. Technology, the use of scientific knowledge for practical purposes, has a profound impact on the way we live. A powerful method of science and research endeavor brings us every aspect of our comfort. Therefore, I propose a four-level educational architecture which is divided into four levels. The first level is for casual students who are interested in nothing more than in animations that…

How to Write a Reaction Paper. In writing a good reaction paper, it is not enough to simply praise the strengths or criticize the weaknesses of the text in question. More than that, you must be able to justify your "reaction." It is important to provide the reasons why, for example, the first chapter of a novel is dragging, or why the thesis of a particular essay carries a strong point. Of equal significance is your ability to further support your reasons with academic theories or even statistical data. Here are some tips on how to write a reaction paper.…

The Dynamic Learning Program works on the principle of “learning is by doing”, it is student-centered, it’s a system of teaching that focuses on student activity rather than on traditional classroom lectures. The set-up is 70% student activity–30% lecture/discussion, and usually national experts do the majority of the lectures via video. The students learn independently, because each activity is provided with a clear, learning target.…
