I enjoyed all the intricate details of creating a graphical user interface: how to create menus and add menu items, how to create dialogs and set them to be modal or modeless. There was even a method for specifying the tool tip, the text that appears when the mouse hovers on a component. I debated whether or not I should work on the ungraded assignment once I finished the reading assignment. I eventually decided not to. Since I finished the discussion assignment already, which was easy and didn't require a lot of time, I decided to start preparing for the final exam. I want to take the exam before the last day of the exam period at the very least, so that leaves me less than a week to prepare. There's so much to read, and a lot of review. I will start as soon as today. I'll keep the ungraded assignment in mind. If I have the time, I will do it later this week, if only to test myself and how much I know. At any rate, I will continue to study Java on my own after the term is over. I want to learn as much as I can before the next term
