In the first two chapters of the book, “The Kite Runner”, the author introduces four persons. Amir is the main – person in the book. He names his father “Baba”. His father is well – to – do and he has much money. Amir´s father has many friends. One of the best friends of “Baba” is Rahim Khan.
On the other side of the good family relationships stands Hassan, a childhood friend of Amir, and his father Ali. Hassan´s father works for Amir´s and he isn´t rich.
It´s interesting how much poles apart two families can be. This shows the very first part of the story very good. It´s very unfair, that Ali doesn’t have so much money than “Baba”. It´s unfair, that Ali is a servant of “Baba”.
Amir and Hassan are good friends. If “Baba” sees his son always playing with Hassan, “Baba” thinks Amir isn´t his son. That´s awful, why should Amir doesn´t play with Hassan? Hassan´s family isn´t so rich, but that’s no reason why they shouldn´t play together. “Baba” deny his son, he asks himself: “Is this my son?”
Amir and Hassan, both boys, love the Kite Running. It´s a fight of two kites and which kite is down on the earth at first, this person loose and must give his kite to the winner. Hassan is the greatest Kite Runner of Kabul. This activity also “Baba” loves. I think, it´s no good relationship between “Baba” and Amir. The Kite Running is the only think which both person share
