Real Heroes In The Works Of Martin Luther King Jr.
“A hero is someone who has given his or her life to something bigger than oneself. …” Heroes face danger, are brave, and have strength while sacrificing themselves for the good of others. Heroes aren’t always people that have super powers. Those are the heroes we learn and see in the movies. In reality heroes are just ordinary people. For example Wonder Woman, Spiderman, and Captain America are all heroes in the movies but in reality no one can do the things they do. Real heroes are the people that improve the world we live in just like Martin Luther King Jr. has.
Martin Luther King Jr. was a leader in the Civil Rights Movement to end segregation. He fought for everyone to go to the same school, restaurants, and have the same rights on busses

An example of a bad guy would be Adolf Hitler. He didn’t do hero like things instead he did the opposite. Hitler excluded jews from society. He was the leader of the Nazi party and killed 6 million jews in the holocaust. One of his quotes is “Make the lie big, make it simple, keep saying it, and eventually they will believe it.” Hitler wasn’t a hero nor did he do heroic things.
Someone else that isn’t a hero would have to be Donald Trump. Yes he is the president of the United States but he is not a hero. A president must be equal to his people but Trump hasn’t really done that. He spent thousands of dollars so they could build a wall so immigrants aren’t able to get in. He has many opinions on people without even knowing them but judges them on their race. He kicked out people from the military because of their sexuality. Trump is just spending money on many useless items. Heroes can be anyone but heroes are usually people that have made a positive difference in their life. Some heroes at one point might not have done heroic things but they changed that. When searching up heroes a lot of people come up. Many people are heroes for different reasons. You have either done something to improve the world or have saved

The common and cliche answer amongst many people is “my mom.” Under the dictionary definition I don’t know that all of my classmates moms, including my own, are heroes.…

In other words, people who are not afraid to speak their minds should be considered heroes because they are fearless and have the will power to make a change. The novel, To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee is one such example of heroism. It takes places in Maycomb, Alabama around 1950 when segregation was still around.…

Heroes are people who are admired for their courage and achievements. A hero can be a woman or man, and heroes come in many different shapes and sizes. In the text From My Hero: Extraordinary People on the Heroes Who Inspire Them it says “So we need to be very careful of those we put on a pedestal, and choose only those who embody those qualities that reflect the very best of human nature. But even that is a dangerous game. What do we do with a hero who has done something less than heroic?” I think that this quotes means that we put many heroes on a pedestal who haven’t done things of great courage. For example, my hero would be Harriet Tubman she was an African American woman who helped free enslaved people. Harriet Tubman is a well know individual…
