Reasoned Argument
Topic: Science and Technology should be trusted for self-improvement.

Introduction

Recently, there are numerous teenagers discussing about whether Science and Technology should be trusted for self-improvement or not on homeworkhelper.com. As this discussion attracts browsers dramatically, this website has conducted a survey on this topic. According to the result of this poll, 35% of the respondents think that Science and Technology should be trusted for self-improvement, 50% are neutral, while 15% disagree that Science and Technology should be trusted for self-improvement.

My Perspective

After pondering long and deeply over the above topic on homeworkhelper.com., I have decided to choose to be neutral, which means that I think Science and Technology should be trusted for self-improvement in some aspects while they should not be trusted for self-improvement in some other aspects.
The examples can be: (1) cosmetic surgery as well as (2) computer and Internet. I will elaborate on how cosmetic surgery, computer and Internet are related to self-improvement below thoroughly.

A) Cosmetic Surgery

Regarding cosmetic surgery, benefit and risks exist simultaneously.

Undergoing cosmetic surgery can help improve our appearance. Nowadays, there are so many options towards cosmetic surgery for consumers, for example ◆ Boxtox ◆ Blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery) ◆ Breast Augmentation (breast lift surgery) ◆ Rhinoplasty (nose surgery) ◆ Liposuction

Boxtox is used in the treatment of wrinkles, frown lines and crow’s feet. Blepharoplasty works for a person’s eyelid in order to reduce puffiness, droopiness, wrinkles and even discoloration. Breast Augmentation improves the appearance of women’s breasts. Rhinoplasty is performed to reshape a person’s nose. Liposuction helps remove unwanted fat from areas.

By improving our appearance, cosmetic surgery can help enhance our self-esteem. We will not only look
