Reasons of the Ball Aging
Steel ball is widely used in machine, but also ages rapidly. Therefore, knowing the ball mill course and causes of aging can improve the life span.
There are four major causes of steel ball aging
Firstly, cutting and shaping abrasion. The relative sliding motion in the cylinder of ball mill ball is in the rising phase, hard material by the group is in cutting groove, and cutting softer materials on the ball is of the relatively shallow. Materials produce local shaping abrasion of the grinding ball and forms drilling hole.
Secondly, deformation wears.
