The city contains over one-hundred-thirty waterfalls and is also home to amazing hiking trails and parks. Certain trails wind so that one can visit many waterfalls in one trip, as well as venture past thousand-year-old trees and scale the beautiful but treacherous Tiffany Falls. Ontario includes one of the largest waterfalls in the world, Niagara Falls. Niagara Falls doesn’t have the longest drop, but it is one of the widest waterfalls in the world. Tews Falls, another waterfall in Ontario, is much thinner than Niagara, and not quite as long, but it is still a beloved natural treasure that offers many magnificent sights and experiences. Not only does Ontario sport several waterfalls, it is also thriving with life and greenery in places such as Algonquin Provincial Park and Point Pelee National Park. Algonquin Provincial Park is filled to the brim with miles and miles of lakes and forests that teems with Canadian wildlife: brook trout, bears, moose, and wolves. It boasts canoe trails and a diverse selection of trees. There are camping opportunities, but if one would like to be more sheltered, there is a beautiful lakeshore resort in the park as well. Point Pelee National Park is known for its unique shape, its job as the separator between Lake Erie and Lake Huron, and its standing as the most southern part of Canada. It has a greater diversity of plant life and animal life than almost anywhere else in Canada. Point Pelee National Park also attracts bird watchers from all over due to its extremely varied bird
