It is a pleasure to write this recommendation for Brithney Pascal, a student in my gifted English class. Brithney is a diligent, hard working student who works to her potential. She always seeks extra help when needed and oftentimes stays after class to discuss subject matter .She demonstrates excellent writing abilities with skilled analysis. Brithney always participates and is a catalyst for many class discussions. During group work, she willingly shares her knowledge with her classmates while taking on a leadership role. She is well- liked and respected by her classmates, is considerate of others, and tenacious in tasks. Brithney sets goals for herself and works hard to achieve them. Her desire to learn is obvious. She always makes an effect…
Ariana consistently displays an eagerness to learn and help others. She gets along with her peers and works well in collaborative groups. I continue to encourage Ariana to monitor her social nature during independent work so as not to distract herself and others from continuing to grow in their learning. Finally, her level of professionalism is magnificent. I find it extra impressive because she has a lot of academic problems to discuss and yet she is very careful not to cross that line. She says out loud what she is aloud to say, and keeps to herself of keeps to private conversation with the student what needs to be kept to a private conversation. That is where her leadership and collaboration come into play as well.…
It is with great pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation for Ms. Jennifer Dacosta. As the School Counselor, in the program she oversees, I have had the opportunity to work closely with Ms. Dacosta for the past 6 years. During this time, I have witnessed her passion for knowledge and excellence. She is committed to all students she serves, and is truly a born leader. I find her to be consistently pleasant, tackling all tasks with dedication and a smile. Her interpersonal skills are exemplary and appreciated by everyone who works with her.…
Elliet is a kind and loyal friend to many of her peers. Her positive attitude, sense of humour and imagination significantly contributes to our class environment. Elliet has shown progress in many areas of her own learning. She has gained skills and confidence to express her ideas on paper and really looks forward to these learning activities. By questioning ideas and sharing thoughtful discussion, Elliet shows engagement in our group project work. In a large group, she always plays fairly, shares and demonstrates confidence to express her feelings clearly when problem-solving. Elliet follows the daily routines, classroom rules and has grown to take responsibility of her own belongings.…

The major question that comes to my mind regarding crime statistics is "Why is it that the number of people that are in the U.S. is rising at an unprecedented rate?" Analyst say that the crime rate has remained relatively flat over the last 15 years, but today we are seeing the most rapid growth in our nation's prison population since the first prisons were established in the 19th century.…
The adolescent that was interviewed for this paper, Cassie Menendez, is a seventeen year-old junior in high school. She comes from a middle-class family with a mother who is 48 years old and works as a nurse on a trauma floor in an upper state New York hospital and a father who is 52 and works as a dairy farmer. Cassie is also the youngest out of three children. She has a brother, Daniel who is currently 22 and getting his masters in history and a sister who is 20 and is working towards a degree in human resources. Throughout the interview it was made obvious that Cassie is a bright girl, due to her currently being in second place for being valedictorian of her high school class along with belonging to many sports, organizations and multiple friendships. Although Cassie is not quite sure where she wants to go in the future, in terms of college and what she wants to focus on while enrolled in college, she seems to be enjoying her busy schedule and last few years of high school.…
Bethany is perhaps the most creatively talented student I have ever taught. Her talent and creativity was obvious in every assignment or project she accomplished for me. She is a gifted writer, artist, musician and designer. Her projects were far superior to her peers. One specific assignment comes to mind as an example. She created and produced an extremely professional book trailer for the AAIM Student Media Festival competition, which was awarded…
