Evie Thompson, Evie Thompson: I wondered if anybody thinks about that name or even considers it. If they did they would probably be talking about the wrong Evie. The crisp morning breeze blew my brown scraggly hair out behind me and pressed my old rainbow shirt closer to my stomach. I shivered, pulling my coat closer to my body.

Now is probably the point in the story where you want hear about some crazy secret I have or the fact I can do magic. But if you want to read that kind of story, you should stop here. I am not smart, I’m terrible at sports, Not popular... you can guess the rest. But my sister Carmen is all of the above.

Great, I thought as I walked down the aisle in between chairs.
“ugh” I tripped over somebody’s foot falling to the ground. My books went everywhere and my backpack slumped over my head.
I looked at the person next to me and to my dismay she had picked up my quiz from the ground and was looking at it- “74%” she snickered. “Are you sure you are Carmen’s sister- cause it seems like you are just a loser,” she whispered to me as I got my stuff off of the ground. I pulled the paper out of her hand and put it back in my folder. My face was as red as a tomato and to make it worse when I got up my math teacher- Mr. Nelson was staring at me.
Before I could apologize he said “ I don’t want to waste more of our class time talking about what a disruption you have been,” He paused and then kept going, “So instead I will talk to you about that at lunchtime Evie.”
“Ohhhhhhhhhh” I heard my classmates whisper. I quickly scurried up to my seat in the front of the class, not wanting to get in trouble

Nelson was going over something boring about fraction multiplication the person behind me whispered, “Wait, are you really Carmen's sister?”
“Yes” I responded a little too loudly.
“Well, Evie looks like you know the material pretty well because you are talking so why don’t you come up here and solve this problem.” Mr. Nelson said, giving me a cold glare
“Um” I walked slowly up to the front of the classroom, hoping maybe if I walked slow enough the bell would ring. I looked at the problem on the board written in white chalk, hoping I could erase
